Wednesday was an off day for the 45 pros and 45 co-anglers who qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup at Lake Murray. The anglers went through registration in the afternoon and gathered in Columbia, S.C., at night for pre-tournament banquet and dinner.
There were smiles all around during the low-key gathering in a ballroom at the Hilton Doubletree hotel. That'll all change in a matter of hours.
Meanwhile, the weather was hot and sunny all day and a cool morning is due to greet the anglers Thursday at Dreher Island State Park, which will serve as the host launch facility this week.
Below is a photo gallery from the registration session today.
