Kevin VanDam has joined the pro staff at Mission Athletecare, the producer of athlete-engineered products designed to enhance performance. He'll help design and promote products that are relevant to anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
He joins a roster at Mission that includes tennis champion Serena Williams, baseball star David Wright, soccer standout Mia Hamm and mixed martial arts powerhouse Georges St. Pierre.

VanDam also recently announced a partnership with his home-state NFL team. The Detroit Lions/KVD Charity Fishing Tournament will take place June 12 at Kent Lake in Milford, Mich., with proceeds benefiting Detroit Lions Charities (DLC) and Kevin VanDam Charities.
"I grew up watching the Detroit Lions, so I’m a lifetime Lions fan," VanDam said. "For me it’s truly an honor and a privilege to be partnered with the Lions organization."
