Chad Gay, an employee in FLW Outdoors' communications department for the past 5 years, has been named the organization's new director of public relations. He replaces Andie Belfry, whose tenure lasted less than 5 months.
“I’m thrilled to be offered the opportunity to be the director of public relations at FLW," Gay said. "I’ve been with the organization since 2006 and have gained valuable insight into FLW and the direction they are headed. This move came at the right time for me, and I’m excited to be a part of this experienced communications team and look forward to building on what we have already established and spreading the word for FLW. (Next year) promises to be a fantastic year for us and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Said FLW marketing division president Trisha Blake: “Chad has proven in his 6 years with FLW that he has the necessary knowledge and vision to oversee our public relations efforts. FLW has some very exciting things planned for 2012 and we will look to Chad and his team to leverage these efforts across the different media channels available to us.”
