Jim Moynagh passed along this photo from practice for this week's Guntersville FLW Tour Open. The Minnesota pro said he bought $200 worth of frog baits before heading to Alabama, but this seemingly cannibalistic bullfrog was all he managed to catch on them over the course of 3 days.
The bite at Guntersville has been extremely tough (at least in terms of quality), and when contacted by BassFan on Tuesday evening, Moynagh admitted that he was logged onto the site at that very moment, trying to glean a helpful tidbit or two from Jay Yelas' initial practice report that was posted Monday night. Moynagh did manage a few bites (from actual bass) with a flipping stick, and that looks as if it'll be the predominant pattern.
