Before every major championship there's always a buzz about a niche bait that could play a factor. For next week's Forrest Wood Cup, there's a pretty substantial buzz around the Lateral Perch from Power Tackle. That's because the bream-bed bite is expected to be a big factor at Ouachita, and the Lateral Perch is basically what the name says – a bluegill-like bait that's actually a jig, so it lays on its side (lateral).
