Pencil in one more activity for the upcoming Toyota Trucks B.A.S.S. All-Star Week: The Bassmaster Legends tournament.
The new Legends will be nothing like the fairly recent Legends Major, and more like the old SuperStars events (with a much smaller field). Here's how it'll work.
On July 31 in Montgomery, Ala. – the final day of All-Star Week – four Legends teams will compete in a 1-day event. The pairings are:
> Jerry McKinnis, Bill Dance
> Guido Hibdon, Bobby Murray
> Guy Eaker, Ken Cook
> Rick Clunn, Tommy Martin
Murray, the winner of the first Bassmaster Classic, noted: "I expect this to be one heck of an event – a very fierce but friendly competition. You put eight world-class anglers eyeball-to-eyeball on a small fishery and it's bound to get interesting."
