Interesting report concerning rec-boat publishing today from International Boat Industry news: Ehlert sold its Trailer Boats and Powerboat magazine titles to Bonnier Corp., and Bonnier plans to continue the titles in online format only. Reporting can be found here.
Ehlert states the selloff is an effort to refocus efforts toward rec vehicles, and clearly the U.S. boat and marine-motor market, and associated media, continues to struggle under what's termed "the new normal." Bass and Walleye Boats magazine shut its doors several years ago.
