'Bird seminars at BU

BassFans attending one of the final two Bassmaster University (BU) stops – this weekend in Shreveport, La. or next weekend in Framingham, Mass. – will benefit from one additional topic of study. Minn Kota and Humminbird signed a support agreement with BU, and courtesy of Humminbird, each BU event will now include seminars on Side Imaging, Down Imaging, GPS and sonar. Students will be exposed to topics like how Side Imaging works, how to interpret Side-Imaging/Down Imaging displays, how to use this information to catch more fish, and how GPS is used to complement sonar technology.

BU co-founder Pete Gluszek stated: "For years we've been limited by the constraints of standard sonar operation. Now we have the opportunity to see so much more and do it in half the time. I'm very excited that Humminbird has made this available to our students and look forward to sharing this technology at all of our BU events."
