BassFans may remember that Terry Baksay had to pull out of the Guntersville FLW Tour event in June of this year. He felt too ill to compete. At the time, he told BassFan he didn't want to elaborate on what was wrong.
After a quiet several months the truth of Baksay's struggle came out in a recent piece by Don Barone on Bassmaster.com. Baksay has testicular cancer, but during his illness, he still tried to compete, still took kids fishing and still fulfilled his duties as youth director of the Connecticut BASS Federation Nation.
