Along with the controversy surrounding the double-up at Lake Okeechobee (for that story, click here), here's another scheduling tidbit.
FLW Outdoors previously wrote that its FLW Series East/West Fishoff – through which 30 pros qualify for the Forrest Wood Cup – will take place Jan. 17-19, 2008. That means that the final day of Fishoff competition is the first day of official practice for the Okeechobee Eastern FLW Series.
Location of the Fishoff has not been announced, but rumor says it'll be at Lake Amistad in Texas. If so, the pros would need to drive about 1,500 miles, and miss significant practice, to fish the Okeechobee Series.
