Just a quick note: Prior to the recent Bassmaster Legends Major, Yamaha pro Kelly Jordon's combined career earnings (BASS and FLW Tour) were well over $1 million. But his $11,500 prize at the Legends put him over the $1 million mark in career BASS earnings. He's currently 22nd in total BASS earnings.
About reaching the $1 million mark, Jordon said: "It can come in a flash, as it did for Scott Suggs, (another) Yamaha pro, or it can take years as it did for me. I've fished more than 150 tournaments since turning pro.
"Reaching $1 million in BASS earnings is a really big deal," he added. "And I'm really happy to be on this list. But I still have career goals I'm working on. One of those is earning Angler of the Year honors and another is to win the Bassmaster Classic."
