BASS today announced that Grapevine Lake, Texas will be the site of its Busch Shootout. Most of the anglers fishing the specialty event arrived at airports this morning with no clue where they'd be later that afternoon.
Anglers qualified for the event by weighing the Top 10 heaviest 1-day bags in this season's Bassmaster Elite Series. The other three competitors caught the heaviest 1-day sacks at the Open Championship, Federation Nation National Championship and Bassmaster Classic.
> The Busch Shootout airs at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 21 on ESPN2. It will re-air Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Dec. 8 and Dec. 30.
