Per the BassFan Radio interview with Al Smith, we've been hearing from a lot of people wanting to sign up for the BassFan Army since membership is free through the end of the year. Membership means eligibility for product contingency programs, potential participation in member product reviews and, not least, it's a prerequisite for being able to qualify for the Skeeter BassFan Army Weekend Warrior Championship.
For everyone wanting to sign up, on the sign-up form fill out all the personal information. When you get to the payment screen, DO NOT fill out any credit card or payment information. Just leave it blank and hit the "Next" button.
You will get an "incomplete" or "credit card error" – simply ignore it. At that point we have your information (you are signed up) and you DO NOT have to pay for 2006.
Memberships are valid through Dec. 31, 2006.
