Skeeter Boats announced that Texas' Lake Fork will host its 13th annual Skeeter Owners' Tournament, scheduled for June 8-11. The event consists of family-oriented activities open to Skeeter owners and the general public.

"This is more than just a bass-fishing tournament, it's a family affair," said Skeeter senior VP and GM Jeff Stone. "We are planning activities for the entire family, including demo rides, product demonstrations, seminars, music, a Texas barbecue, live auction and a silent auction, where proceeds will go to local and national charities."

The Owners' Tournament is expected to draw more than 700 teams and approximately 1,750 anglers, making it the largest single-brand bass-boat tournament in the country.

Each day will feature sponsor exhibits, Skeeter Pro Team member seminars and casting demonstrations, interactive displays and a kids' fishing venue. The kick-off party, with live music, begins at 4 p.m. on Friday.

The Skeeter Bug Shootout, which consists of 10 pro team members paired with hourly weigh-in winners in a 2-hour tournament, will be held Saturday.

Entry applications and rules are available at www.skeeterboats.com, and also at authorized Skeeter dealerships.
