The Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger newspaper is reporting that efforts are being made to remove the rebar that had been driven into stumps and other submerged navigational hazards at Ross Barnett Reservoir. At the recent Elite Series tournament there, several anglers complained about the metal rods damaging their boats since the water was elevated and the rebar was not easily seen or identifiable.
