Potomac: Elites will bow out if new reg stands

The Bassmaster Elite Series event scheduled for the Potomac River in August won't happen if a new "slot" regulation regarding possession of fish over 15 inches stays in place, B.A.S.S. CEO Bruce Akin said. However, an official with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources said the situation is still fluid and the mandate may be changed or rescinded.
