Mike Iaconelli returns to his New Jersey studio to share fishing stories and talk with fans during the 3-hour FanFest edition of Ike Live! this Sunday. The show, which is live-streamed from www.MikeIaconelli.com, gets under way at 8 p.m. ET.
Iaconelli plans several “pop-up” contests during the show, including one for the best “Worst Fishing Story.” The viewer who calls in, tweets in or posts to Facebook the winning story will receive a Fishidy subscription. Prizes for other pop-up contests include Major League Fishing and Abu Garcia tournament jerseys, both autographed by Iaconelli.
In addition, Matt Schwolert, a 9th-grade math teacher in Texas, checks in via video from his classroom, where he and his students discuss Schwolert’s “Fishing for Algebra” course that uses fishing as a basis for explaining algebraic concepts.
The show will also feature the premiere of Iaconelli's new action fishing video, produced by fellow Elite Series pro Hunter Shryrock of 496Films and directed by Iaconelli's wife Becky.
