Amerson withdraws from final 2 Tour events

FLW announced that Tour pro Keith Amerson of Selmer, Tenn., informed the organization over the weekend of his decision to withdraw from the remaining two regular-season FLW Tour events due to a family medical obligation.

A tournament field of 147 boats will compete this week at the FLW Tour at Lake Chickamauga.

Amerson issued the following statement via his Facebook page:

Amerson fished four events in 2015 and was in 133rd place in the Angler of the Year race. His best showing of the season was a 98th-place finish last month at Lake Eufaula.
