Joe Don Setina had one keeper in his livewell around 11 a.m. this morning, but he put together an impressive afternoon rally that saw him bring 23-06 to the scales and take the day-1 lead at the Sam Rayburn Reservoir Texas Rayovac Series.
With the water level up nearly 5 feet over normal conditions, Setina holds an 8-ounce lead on Denny Brauer, who has 22-14, but is being hampered by a shoulder injury.
Ricky Guy is 3rd with 22-13 while Jeff Cade (22-10) and Jim Tutt (21-13) rounded out the closely-spaced Top 5.
