Former tour pro Jon Bondy is guiding on Lake St. Clair today and told BassFan via email that it looks as if nearly 100 percent of the field is headed for Lake Erie on day 1 of the St. Clair Bassmaster Elite Series.
"I haven't seen another bass boat fishing – just a bunch headed south," he said. "I'm shocked by that."
Meanwhile, he's having little difficulty putting clients on healthy-looking fish this week. These two gentlemen made a 10-hour drive from Iowa.
He said they're catching the fish on a prototype bait he designed called the Bondy Perch.
