Skeeter Boats has received received Field & Stream magazine's 2006 Best of the Best award in the boating category for its 20i, a revolutionary new boat that is part of the company's i-Class Series.
The 20i was selected from numerous entries in the boating category for its design, performance and usefulness to sportsmen. The F&S article said the boat had "exceptional stability, both at rest as well as at 70 mph (full throttle with three adults, a full fuel tank, and fishing gear)."

The 20i features sleeker windshields and a curved profile. The wide beam (94 1/2 inches) allows for more deck space, wider seating and a deeper cockpit. It features a recessed foot pedal for trolling-motor operation and a host of standard electronics. Stability and fishability have been trademarks of the brand and have contributed significantly to the structural integrity of the 20i.
The 20i also features a Digital Multifunction System (DMS) to control the boat's electronics. DMS, exclusive to Skeeter, allows the 20i to have i-Force keyless locks that are used to lock/unlock all storage compartment doors from the driver-side touch panel, as well as controlling all electrical components and conducted special diagnostics.
