A report in today’s Watertown (N.Y.) Daily News outlines plans that are being made for an outdoor festival that will coincide with the St. Lawrence River Elite Series, which is scheduled for Aug. 8-11 in Waddington, N.Y.
The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will be involved in the organizing of the festival, which is tentatively titled “Tastes and Talents of the North Country,” and will feature crafts, food, artisans, wine, entertainment and music.
According to the story, per the contractual agreement between B.A.S.S. and the Village of Waddington, “the community is required to host an expo to draw people into the area for the event.”
