A new edition of the BassFan World Rankings was published this morning and the edition is notable for several reasons.

One, there's still nobody close to Kevin VanDam.

Two, Edwin Evers remains perched in 2nd after two solid seasons.

Three, the next five spots below Evers are occupied by FLW Tour pros.

The Five

FLW Tour pros Bryan Thrift and Brent Ehrler made waves this year and last when each spent a short time ranked No. 1. And Andy Morgan has long been a fixture inside the Top 10.

But David Dudley, fresh off an 11th-place finish at Pickwick and with an FLW Tour Angler of the Year (AOY) crown in hand, is now ranked 5th in the world, while Pickwick champion Mark Rose is ranked 3rd.

It's been a long time since the Top 10 was so evenly split between the tours and here's a look at the Top 10 as it sits right now:

1. Kevin VanDam -- 217.774
2. Edwin Evers -- 204.612
3. Mark Rose -- 201.998
4. Brent Ehrler -- 201.347
5. David Dudley -- 199.448
6. Bryan Thrift -- 197.400
7. Andy Morgan -- 189.481
8. Terry Scroggins -- 185.911
9. Steve Kennedy -- 184.293
10. Gerald Swindle -- 180.618

Scroggins, Kennedy and Swindle are all hot as well. None has been able to lock down a major title, and Kennedy's the only one of the three to have won in the past 2 years, but each has a smattering of near misses.

From 11 to 20 and Beyond

Outside of the Top 10, there's a fairly equal split from 11th through 20th, with FLW Tour pros in four of the slots and B.A.S.S. pros in six.

From 21st through 30th, B.A.S.S. pros dominate and occupy eight of the 10 slots.
