Fishing "e-tailer" eAngler.com is giving away another Ranger bass boat. This time it's the eAngler-decaled boat Chad Brauer ran last season on the FLW and BASSMASTER tours.
Here are the boat's specs: Ranger 518VX Comanche (and matching trailer) with a 200-hp Evinrude outboard; estimated value of $25,000. That's the grand prize. One hundred runners-up will win a Black & Decker power tool.
"We're excited to offer fishing fans everywhere the chance to win this one-of-a-kind boat," said eAngler CEO Michael Davis. "We constantly hear from fans and other anglers that the eAngler boat that Chad drives is one of the best-looking boats on the B.A.S.S. and F.L.W. tournament trails."
Brauer, son of bass fishing legend Denny Brauer, is in his second season driving the eAngler Ranger on the tours. To promote this giveaway, he recently appeared in a TV commercial with his father and his son, Colby.
"Our industry has been emphasizing fishing as a family-based sport for several years now," said Denny Brauer, "and we're excited to be a part of eAngler's promotion to give away Chad's boat. The commercial gave us a chance to say that we believe, like a lot of other anglers across the country, that fishing is about families spending time together and having fun."
