Brown's two-fish bag enough to seal PAA win

Tommy Brown weighed just two fish on the final day of the Fort Loudon-Tellico PAA Tournament Series, but he nonetheless closed out the biggest win of his career. Brown, who held a 10-pound lead after day 2, scaled 5.46 pounds on day 3 to prevail with a 47.36 total.

His winning margin over fellow Louisville, Tenn. resident Chris Whitson was a little more than 2 1/2 pounds. Whitson's 17.97 stringer was the best of the final day and he finished with 44.81.

Tennesseans claimed four of the Top-5 slots, as Wesley Strader was 3rd with 42.88 and Joe Lee 5th with 36.48. Missouri's James Watson was 4th with 36.91.

Details of Brown's winning pattern will be published soon.
