Hutchins grabs Potomac lead

Virginia's John Hutchins won a BFL at the Potomac River earlier this year. Now he's got his sights set on a higher-level victory.

Hutchins weighed the only 20-pound bag on day 1 of the Potomac River Northern EverStart to build a lead of more than 3 1/2 pounds. Maryland's Walter Snider was 2nd with 17-11.
