Kota Kiriyama's third annual American Dream tournament is slated for Dec. 3 at Lake Wheeler in Alabama, but there's an informational meeting Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in Decatur for those who want to learn more about the event. Entries will be accepted at the meeting, and attendees are eligible to win door prizes including free tournament entry and Jackall lures.
The American Dream tournament features the most unique payout in the sport: The winner receives an all-expense-paid trip to visit and fish Japan. (Winners, if they wish, may opt out of the trip and accept a cash award.)
