The Forrest Wood Cup field is literally frying in Arkansas right now. The actual air temperature today is about 103 or 104. Some clouds and a breeze make it a touch more bearable, but overall, it's hot like Hades.
Pro Matt Arey said he's dealing with it, but it takes a toll both mentally and physically.
"It's been over 100 every day," Arey said. "The humidity hasn't been too terrible, so you can kind of deal with it. You just need to stay hydrated. I've fished a couple in August and they're tough mentally and physically. The physical part is the hardest to deal with, but the mental part gets real tough too when you're not catching them."
