Remember the Kentucky Lake FLW Tour Major last month? That's when 9th-place Jason Christie told BassFans he was digging ledges with a new type of Bomber Fat Free Shad. All Christie would say was that it dove deeper than the regular deep-diving Fat Free.
News on the bait is now out: It's called the BD8 and according to reports it's a killer for the deep-crank bite happening everywhere right now.
According to Bomber, the company engineers "put the classic BD7F on steroids and produced a Fat Free Shad that dives to 19 feet and comes in silent and rattle versions."
The BD8 is initially be available in 12 colors, including Bama shad, chartreuse craw, phantom shad and Roux. Keep an eye on BomberLures.com for color updates.
