Elite Series pro Pete Ponds is now part of the Talon Series Custom Lures pro staff. The Texas-based company, best known for its jigs, skirts and spinnerbaits, recently added Elite Series pro Billy McCaghren as well.
The official announcement noted that Talon brought Ponds aboard not only because of his well-respected skills and ideas, but also because he's a tireless worker for the sport and his sponsors. Plans are in the works for a Talon signature series with Ponds.
