The Abu Garcia For Life! contest rolls on and BassFans continue to take pride in their reels that have lasted for generations.
Three new entries in the contest were published today from Ray Vanacore, Wayne Hutson and Doug Odom. (Check out Hutson's pile of Abus in the photo to right!)
Additionally, Frank Thomas from Marion, N.Y. was chosen as the most recent winner. He told readers about a great memory involving his Abu Garcia 520 spincaster. In summary, Frank's brothers were fighting over the new reel and his father got so mad, he took the reel away and let Frank fish with it. Frank still clicks the reel once in a while and remembers that day. He'll be receiving a new Abu Garcia Sorön in the mail shortly.
