Castrol has been a longtime sponsor of FLW Outdoors. The oil brand last year downgraded its involvement substantially and the Castrol team essentially disappeared – except for David Dudley, who reportedly brokered his own independent deal with the brand.
But Castrol's back to its old, more intense level of involvement, FLW Outdoors announced today. As well, former Team Castrol members Mike Surman and Darrel Robertson rejoined Dudley on the team. Longtime teammate Bobby Curtis will not return.
The news wasn't really a secret – Dudley, Surman and Robertson ran their new Castrol team boats at the Okeechobee FLW Tour Open last month. But again, it was made official today.
