FLW Outdoors announced another endemic sponsor today in Zebco. The deal covers this season. Under the agreement, Zebco will offer its trout pond in Walmart parking lots (described at "retailtainment") and at the traveling FLW Outdoors Expo.
FLW Outdoors marketing-division president Trisha Blake noted: "The name Zebco invokes images of fishing, as everyone remembers their first time fishing, and the chances are they made their first cast with a Zebco. We're excited to have them as a partner and look forward to building a relationship that will be beneficial to both parties."
Zebco president Jeff Pontius said: "Whether it's being part of a child's first catch at the Zebco Trout Pond this spring, or the chance to visit face-to-face with an angler who caught their first fish with a Zebco reel as a kid in the 1950s, our partnership and presence at the FLW Outdoors events creates a special opportunity for interaction with valued consumers."
The sponsorship does not grant Zebco exclusivity within any sponsor categories.
