Jerseys for St. Jude

Jerseys for St. Jude

Here's a cool fundraiser that a lot of BassFans should take a look at. Several tour jerseys are being auctioned to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. In addition, there are drawings for free fishing gear and memorabilia.

It's for a great cause. St. Jude is unlike any other pediatric treatment and research facility. Discoveries made there have completely changed how the world treats children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. With research and patient care under one roof, St. Jude is where some of today's most gifted researchers are able to do science more quickly.

Four to six jerseys will be auctioned each week through mid-February, including autographed jerseys of tour pros like Kevin VanDam, Mike Iaconelli, Clark Wendlandt, Dave Lefebre, Byron Velvick, Kim Bain-Moore and others.

Prospective bidders should visit eBay and search "Jerseys for St. Jude."

For those anglers who wish to contribute to St. Jude outside of the EBay auctions, donations will be accepted through MyStJudeEvent.org/jersy4jude. For every $25 donated, one entry will be placed under the donor's name for a drawing featuring prizes like a Dobyns and American Rodsmiths rods, All-Terrain tackle packs, autographed photos, discount coupons and more. Several other prizes will be added in the upcoming weeks. The actual date of the drawing will be announced in mid-February.

Pros, companies or other individuals who want to contribute to this rewarding effort can email jerseysforstjude@hotmail.com.
