Goodwill extends FLW deal

Goodwill Industries International announced that it's extended its partnership with FLW Outdoors, with Minnesota pro Chad Grigsby (pictured) continuing to represent the organization on the FLW Tour.

Goodwill will collect donations at each 2011 Tourevent. Sales in those local Goodwill stores will help fund job training programs, employment placement services and other community-based programs for people who need them most.

“The relationship formed between FLW Outdoors and Goodwill has demonstrated how a unique partnership can benefit both organizations and our communities,” said FLW Outdoors Marketing Division president Trisha Blake. “Goodwill provides skills training and support services to hundreds of people every day through its multiple programs, and we are honored to be a part of that.”

Said Goodwill president and CEO Jim Gibbons: “The partnership between Goodwill and FLW Outdoors will increase awareness of Goodwill’s job training and career advancement programs. Thanks to the generosity and cooperative spirit of FLW Outdoors, Goodwill has the opportunity to reach future donors and shoppers. As a result, we will be able to serve more people in communities across the country.”
