Chevy has extended its sponsorship of FLW Outdoors under what was termed a "multiyear" agreement.
The Chevy team will continue largely as is with only one change: Bryan Thrift replaces Dave Lefebre, who switched to Kellogg. Returning Team Chevy members are Luke Clausen, Anthony Gagliardi, Dion Hibdon, Jimmy Houston, Larry Nixon and Jay Yelas.
FLW Outdoors marketing-division president Trisha Blake said: “Chevy has been with FLW Outdoors since its inception. Their continued partnership exemplifies Chevy’s longstanding commitment and support of the anglers, fans and the FLW organization. We will continue to build upon our unique relationship including an enhanced emphasis at our grassroots events in 2011.”
Chevy promotions manager Phil Caruso noted: “Chevrolet is proud to continue our longstanding relationship with FLW Outdoors and actively support the sport of fishing in communities across the country.”
Under the agreement, Chevy will continue as presenting sponsor of the BFL All-American and title sponsor of the Chevy BFL Wild Card.
