Jamie Wilkinson, a 10-year B.A.S.S. employee, is leaving the company effective tomorrow. He's accepted a position in Panama City, Fla. which brings him and his family closer to their former Montgomery, Ala. home.
Wilkinson served as communications director for several years before being promoted to senior director of event operations and business development.
There's not yet any news as to who will assume the event-operations duties.
Currently, Melissa Dixon is handling B.A.S.S. communications and PR.
"It's been a great 10 years at B.A.S.S.," Wilkinson told BassFan. "I've enjoyed watching the sport grow. I believe the new owners have a vision that'll take B.A.S.S. in the right direction and I wish everybody well."
