The term "EverStarts" has officially returned to the bass vernacular, as the battery company today returned as title sponsor for the popular FLW Outdoors pro-am series. EverStart was the original title-sponsor of the series until Stren took over. The Series was left without a title-sponsorship this year.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed, although two FLW Tour pros will make up team EverStart – Randall Tharp and Ron Shuffield. Both Tharp and Shuffield fished without major sponsorships this year.
EverStart Batteries, which are sold exclusively through Walmart, are now the official automotive and marine batteries of FLW Outdoors.
FLW Outdoors marketing-division president Trisha Blake noted: "EverStart Batteries has been the leader in this category for years and thus makes their sponsorship a natural fit. We're proud to once again call the American Fishing Series the EverStart Series."
