It's been a long while since any news surfaced about Gamma line. In January, parent company Ferrari Importing announced it was going to sell off its fishing unit (the company's main focus is tennis-racket string), but things have been quiet since.
A communication from the company circulated this week and announced that the Gamma fishing properties will be sold to Dark Knight Industries of Oil City, Pa., owned by Dale and Heidi Black. The deal is expected to close by the end of this month.
