No motion moving to shelves

No motion moving to shelves

Did you happen to catch BassFan Editor-in-Chief Jon Storm's reporting from Japan earlier this year? In one story (click here), he talked about new techniques and rigs that could have a big impact on U.S. Fishing, one of which was iMotion from Jackall. The iMotion concept, from famed lure designer Seiji Kato, is centered on the fact that bass most often see prey item swimming naturally. And when bait swims, it does so with almost no perceivable body motion.

So in highly pressured situations, a natural, no-movement retrieve can catch fish that are conditioned against traditionally wild, erratic presentations.

Jackall's first iMotion hardbait – the I-Style Seira Minnow (top right) – is just now reaching store shelves.

Jackall's new flat-sided crank, the Bling 55 (bottom), has just reached shelves as well. It includes a weight-transfer system that helps prevent the annoying flat-sided air-roll during a cast. Check out both baits at the BassFan Store. Links below.
