A bit of good news for Midwest anglers: Central Pro-Am announced that Ranger Boats has returned as a sponsor.
Ranger sponsored Central Pro-Ams for two decades, but ended its previous sponsorship in 2006. The circuit changed ownership and revised its format over the past 5 years. With former sponsor Mercury returning as well, the circuit now has two critical, foundational sponsors back in place.
Central Pro-Am owner Jim Thompson noted: "We're ecstatic. Ranger Boats and Central Pro-Am have a storied history of success in the Midwest and the opportunity to join forces again will mean great things for both organizations and our anglers. This partnership has been a primary goal of Central Pro-Am since I acquired the organization. Ranger marketing VP Bart Schad said: "We're fortunate to have such a longstanding partnership with Central Pro-Am. They do a great job for anglers in the Midwest and provide an excellent fit for Ranger Boats. We're really looking forward to the 2011 season."
