Bassmaster Elite Series pro Mark Tyler signed a new rod sponsor this week – upstart company Denali Rods. Tyler, a former Californian-turned-Arizonan, now resides in Oklahoma. He joins FLW Tour pro Michael Murphy on the staff.
Denali noted that it'll soon release a 7'4" Mark Tyler signature-series rod, and it plans to announce more pro-staff signings "over the next few weeks."
Tyler noted: "Denali Rods is committed to producing top-quality rods at value pricing. (The Jadewood series retails for $99. – Ed.). I used several Denali rods all season last year, and was blown away how balanced, light and durable the rods were. I had zero problems. I'm very excited for the release of the Mark Tyler signature-series rod, which has a unique length and action designed to be a true multipurpose rod."
Denali president Scott Estes added: "Mark Tyler's a top-notch fisherman and a top-notch person, and we're thrilled to have him on the Denali team. I've had the opportunity to watch Mark over the years both on and off the water, and he's a tremendous advocate of the sport of bass fishing."
