Three weeks ago, Kevin Short talked about his new deal with Jewel Bait Co. on BassFan Radio, but the deal became official today when Jewel issued news of the signing. In the announcement, Jewel national sales manager Bryan Head noted: "I've known Kevin for years – he's a great guy and an awesome angler. We're very happy that Kevin has joined our national team and look forward to a long relationship with him."
Short said in the news announcement: "I've been using Jewel products for a number of years and have always been impressed with the quality. I'm excited about being a member of the Jewel family and look forward to a long relationship with such a first-rate organization."
