Jarden departure

Several news outlets are reporting that Coleman Co. president and CEO Gary Kiedaisch has left the company for personal reasons.

Coleman is owned by parent company Jarden Corp., which also owns Pure Fishing (Berkley, Fenwick, Abu Garcia) and Shakespeare (Pflueger, Penn). Kiedaisch also served as president of the newly formed Jarden Outdoors Solutions division, and thus oversaw Jarden's fishing interests. Pure Fishing interim president Tom Bedell reported directly to Kiedaisch.

News outlets also report that Coleman CFO Sam Solomon has been named acting CEO, and Coleman VP of finance Dan Hogan has been named acting CFO.
