Columbia Series: pro watch

Four active tour pros are inside the Top 30 after day 1 of competition at the Columbia River Western FLW Series. Remember that the Top 30 pros from each Series division (Western and Eastern) qualify to fish the East/West Fish-off, which features a head-to-head bracket competition. The bracket winners each get a berth in the 2008 Forrest Wood Cup. So any tour pros who qualify through the Fish-Off can effectively fish next year's FLW Tour with a free Cup pass. One Western Series event remains after the Columbia, and that's at Clear Lake (Oct. 24).

California's Clayton Meyer leads the event with 16-13. Here are the four tour pros inside the Top 30. Day-1 position and weight is followed by FLW Series Western points standing in blue.

4. Ken Wick -- 15-00 (32nd)
6. Michael Bennett -- 14-06 (37th)
9. Charlie Weyer -- 13-15 (74th)
22. Sean Minderman -- 12-01 (30th)
