The final FLW Tour event of the season begins this Thursday at the Detroit River, which means the Angler of the Year title will be decided, as well as berths in the 2007 Forrest Wood Cup.
The Top 40 in the FLW Tour points will qualify for the Cup, but remember that some within the current Top 40 have already qualified through the 2006 FLW Series. Several pros have noted that FLW Outdoors will work down the Tour points to accommodate double-qualifiers, which means those who finish in the high-40s in the Tour points will likely get a Cup berth.
