The Professional Anglers Association (PAA) announced that it has hired industry vet Craig Lamb of Brentwood, Tenn. to the newly created position of general manager. BassFans probably know Lamb best as a BASS senior writer. His experience also includes a 4-year stop with Ranger Boats (1982-86), along with stints as a marketing manager with Gaylord Entertainment, The Nashville Network, and Viacom.
As GM, Lamb will be charged with the implementation of PAA policies, as well as oversight of the organization's programs and operations (including standards, membership, charitable ventures, education, tournaments, and web properties).
Lamb noted: "It's been truly rewarding to make bass fishing a lifelong career and I look forward to being part of its continued growth through my association with PAA and its members and partners."
