Jerry Martin passes

IBI magazine reported today that industry stalwart Jerry Martin died last Friday at the age of 79. Martin was the founder of the Jerry Martin Co. – a boating-industry communications and public-relations firm – which in recent years became the Martin-Flory Group. IBI noted that he entered the industry in 1955 as the first sales-promotion manager at Johnson Motors.
