BassFan spoke with Pure Fishing senior marketing manager Eric Naig, who was able to confirm a few more facts about Jarden Corp.'s acquisition of Pure Fishing.
Former Pure Fishing CEO Tom Bedell will return to the company as Pure Fishing interim president. He'll report directly to Gary Kiedaisch, president of the newly formed Jarden Outdoor Solutions.
Naig told BassFan: "Tom (Bedell) will be coming back on a day-to-day workload. He's excited about working toward the sales meeting in May, which is our next big milestone coming up, and then ICAST after that. He'll be right in the mix of things, and we're excited about that. He has a lot of passion about this business. He'll serve as interim president, and as part of his role here, will help search for a new president as we move forward."
