U.S. wins third Euro cup

The third Eurobass Cup was recently held at Spain's Ricobayo Reservoir. The U.S. team won 14–10 to remain undefeated in the tournament.

The Eurobass Cup pits two teams against one another – the U.S. vs. Europe. Anglers can earn a point by defeating their individual competitor each day. Americans who scored points this year were: Byron Velvick, Brent Ehrler, Steve Kennedy, Aaron Martens, John Crews, Danny Correia, Anthony Gagliardi, Lee Bailey, Jr. and O.T. Fears. Danny Correia also won the individual overall title.

The points winners for Europe were: José Luis López, Frédéric Jullian, Javier Guillén, José Manuel Iglesias, Bénigne Ampaud, Helder Maia and José Mendes da Cruz.
